On November 29 of this year, I turn 30. This isn’t really that big a deal, except that there’s a true possibility that I could, if I’m not careful, become a 30-year-old graphic designer without any sort of comprehensive design presence of my own. An ambiguous connector. I spend my days striving to make useful, beautiful things for others (maybe even for you), while I myself run around with the equivalent of a 1988 Volkswagen Fox of an online home. It’s time to remedy this.
Therefore, between now and (approximately) my birthday, I’ll be going dark on the internet in order to keep my head down without distractions and work on creating something better for myself, and hopefully by extension, for you. Something that can showcase what I do, what I think, what I know. What I think you might find interesting. Something that’s at least more of a mint condition 1972 Karmann Ghia. I mean, dare to dream.
While I’m mostly off the internet (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, okay just kidding I don’t know what Snapchat is, etc. etc.) you can still drop me an email (justin [at] justinchildress.co) or hit me up on Dribbble, where I’ll be posting obscure progress snapshots periodically. I’m also neck-deep in development of another project that you might like, and if that launches before my site does I’ll be sure to let you know.
Thanks for your support. I’m making this for you.
